George's Island

For Columbus day we took a last minute trip with our friends to George's Island, one of the many islands in the Boston harbor. It is a historical landmark that you can read about here. One of it's many purposes was to fire cannon balls at incoming enemy ships.

This was the ferry ride over.

Charlie enjoying himself.

This is an old prison cell or something where you can take your picture and pretend that you are locked up inside.

Here is a view of Fort Warren on the island. The people below are listening to some boring lecture about the island.

Charlie looks so cute. He looks little compared to Sam. Wait till you see him. He fits 18 month clothes. I love the hats. Way cute. It's almost as good as our christmas picture of all of us in red when we were young. lol.

Anne, How are you? I still remember in 8th grade when my science teacher thought we were twins! The fact that we weren't in the same grade, or didn't have the same last name didn't tip him off? Cute boys, I have 2 boys too, see we really must be twins after all!!
